HollywoodPeace.com Hollywood is demoralizing our troops and is abusing their right of free speech and the American people. Anti-American Hollywood activists speak out against the current justified military action in Iraq because they dislike President Bush and are bitter that he both won the 2000 election and also carried his party to landslide victory in the 2002 mid-term elections. What's worse, actors who are not activists but are too dumb to know better, used to having all of their words written for them, parrot the words and deeds of the anti-American Hollywood activists.

Of course, the natural reaction for patriotic Americans is to want to boycott these Activists and Parrots. The problem is, there's just so damn many of them. Janeane Garofalo may seem to be the worst to you, while the Dixie Chicks are the ones who iritated your friend down the street and Michael Moore really got my goat. What's more, there's no way I'd ever watch one of those Michael Moore distortion-fests, The West Wing or whatever it is that Janeane Garofalo does to get paid. It would do no good for me to boycott these things I never would have watched in the first place. For everyone who is irritated by Hollywood to boycott a different product does no good.

The only way for patriotic Americans to have their voices heard is to do what the anti-American Communist-backed protesters do: Make a big stink all at once. To wield our economic power, every one of us needs to take the same action at the same time.

For this reason, we must have a "Boycott Hollywood Weekend" where no one buys a DVD or VHS Tape, a CD or cassette tape, or goes to the movie theatre. This is the only way that our message will get to those in power in Hollywood and force them to get their uneducated actor in check. We cannot pick and choose our targets of protest as individuals. There's no power in that. We must show the volume of our contribution to the success of the Entertainment Industry en masse.

I propose April 25-27 as "Boycott Hollywood Weekend." To participate, don't go to the movies AT ALL during the entire weekend. Don't buy a CD, DVD or VHS tape from April 25 through April 27. Only through focusing our efforts across the board at the entire industry at once can we hope to make a difference and let those in power in Hollywood know that true Americans are disgusted with the anti-American actions of the Hollywood elite.

Many of these actors don't have anything playing in the theater. The only current movie is Dream Catcher with King. His wife wore "BUSH is a Terrorist" t-shirt in a Peace march in Florida accompanying Mr. King.

Many artists do support the war effort. Why punish the non-offenders?

Here's the Public Relations firm behind this foul mouthed whorelywierd masterpiece of typical, low class, Hollywood gutter humor.

Here's their budding client list. From the looks of it, we don't have to go too far to boycott them because no one in fly over country (you know, the people that purchase the box office tickets that finance those clients?) ever heard of them anyway.

The petition is mine. I wrote it, and greg at hollywood peace was kind enough to post it and set up the signatures. Unfortunately, unruly libs seem to have taken a knife to it in the past few hours. As far as can be told by IP, it's likely one or two people. The site only displays the last 50 or so signatures, so real signatures by the thousands will obviously scroll the bad ones off. The data will hopefully be cleaned a bit before the letters are sent.

The petition isn't the only thing, though. The point is the boycott - regardless of signatures. The signature count is mainly for leverage to get media coverage to get greater participation.

True, there are a few celebs on board with the pres and patriotic support of the war. My design in this was to have a concerted effort to make a statement - - not to cripple the industry. That's why I conceived a weekend rather than a blanket boycott in perpetuity. I'm fairly sure no movie theater staff will lose their jobs over a bad weekend of ticket sales, but just as sure that a huge drop in movie attendance, CD, DVD and VHS sales and rentals will send a message that **WE** support that industry and we are listening to what's being said. How much of a message is sent by this has to do with the boycott - not the signatures. And that, my freeper friends, is up to you and others who are like minded.

I'm thinking that some libs saw posts here and made their way over to ruin the petition by signing in a vulgar fashion. I wrote the letter, and greg at hollywoodpeace was kind enough to set up the petition. Please be assured that it means what it says. I am very pro President Bush and anti the Hollywood Liberal Establishment.

The "Golden Supporter" area is not related to the signatures below it. That's for people who get the petition mentioned in the media. Site design there is a little deceptive in that there's no separator between the (blank so far) "Golden Supporter" area and the 50 most recent signatures.

Those bad signatures will scroll off as more are added. Hopefully, freepers and their friends and loved ones can scroll these "bad" signatures off quickly. Then, the only thing that will remain of them on that site will be their number.

As with most things, it started as an earnest effort and heartfelt sentiment and then libs ruined it. Let's try to get it back.

The goal is to have this boycott be fairly widely known by that weekend. Sales and Rental information is reported on a weekly basis, and a noticable drop on that weekend will send a message. Like I said, it's not to "hurt" anyone. I don't particularly want to "hurt" anyone with it. What I wanted to do would be to show that our side spends money on their products and we have a voice. Maybe, if it's successful, conservative actors and singers will be emboldened to speak out more, too, after seeing that our support for them is out there and measurable.

My goal is to cause a dip in Sales, Theater Attendance and Rentals on that weekend attributable to this effort. The whole "petition" thing is really secondary to the boycott itself and is mainly to show media types that sufficient support exists that they could do a story on it.

Here's another way to express your distaste for Hollywood:

Blockbuster has 5000 stores and decides whether or not to carry Hollywarped's output.

Their decision not to carry certain films would send a powerful message to Hollywarped.

Hollywood needs to be advised that we are outraged at the Academy's awarding Oscars to pedophile Polanski and Bush-bashing Michael Moore.

Polanski was charged with rape and five other felonies in 1977 after having intercourse with a girl who was 13 years old at the time. Polanski drugged her and had sex with her while she was unconscious. Polanski was convicted and is a fugitive from justice.

Most annoying is Hollywarped's clueless argument that TV, music and movies are only "make-believe," that hour after hour of MTV, sadistic music videos, permissive TV shows full of anti-family images, and anti-American, violence-ridden films have no effect on viewers and listeners.

OTOH, money-hungry Hollywarped hypes its output to advertisers on the premise that a
15-second TV commercial compels millions of Americans to buy billions of dollars worth of aspirin, cars and dish detergent.

Hollywarped needs to learn that they can't have it both ways.

Understand that Hollywarped's most devious weapon is to proselytize an unsuspecting public, duping them into accepting liberal cant as entertainment without their knowledge or consent. Especially true of teens and pre-teens who are conned into accepting amoral lifestyles only Hollyweird deems "normal
