Ambushes, hit-and-run, rising popular resentment, coalescing opposition forces and an invisible enemy all point to a Vietnam redux.

I'm surprised "Professor" Herrold hasn't jump-started his random-number generator to give us some civilian death counts.

THE REAL DEAL

========= Bagram =========

In Bagram, US heroes celebrate International Women's Day
and teach Afghans the meaning of "respect" and "freedom".

In Bagram, Army champion carries her gun as she jogs .

========= Kabul =========

In Kabul, Afghan girls freed by the USA start their first day of the school.
After liberation, the UN demanded that the women rewear the burqa, the
sign of women's enslavement. Today, in rural areas of Afghanistan,
many girls are now re-forbidden to attend school. This probably would not have happened
if the USA took FReeper advice and put a freed Afghani woman in charge.

In Kabul, the Bagh-e-Zanana Women's Park. Freed by America, the women opened the
park which was closed for decades. Right on.

In Kabul, freedom on the streets courtesy of America.
Freed by the United States, Afghan girls play in public.
2 million Afghan girls were freed by the USA and now learn. Under the Taliban
girls were forbidden to go to school.

========= Kandahar =========

In Kandahar, Afghan children, boys and girls, FREED by the USA play without
fear of being raped by the insane Taliban.

========= Chaman border near Western Pakistan =========

Near the Chaman border, Afghan girls in a refugee camp
as the River of Freedom from America overflows even through the Axis of Evil

These clowns crawled back into their scummy holes after Kabul fell, the Taliban was ousted. Now they're back, offering the same, steady diet of defeatism...that's the real 'redux.'

In late November, they participated in the slaughter of prisoners in the Qala-i-Janghi prison fort in Mazar-i-Sharif.

Slaughter? Oh, now I see where this nice guy's coming from. Next...

There is the little differance of the fact that Saddam will no longer be funding terrorism, and the Saudis are scared witless, we're tracking their funding. And this time, the U.S. isn't funding Afghanis muhajadeen because it's no longer in our interests. And the Iranian mullahs aren't finding life so easy these days. No money, no fight.

Jerks like this are racist pigs. It is OK for the poor to be oppressed by their leaders, but God help the USA for being of help. ONe fact this bozo leaves out is that the Russians lost thousands every year because the USA was arming the underground. Who is going to arm them now?
