They've been in their chem suits since this thing started. Either they've upped the MOPP level, or this reporter is new.
I've seen hundreds of pictures of soldiers, in action and not, and not one is wearing a chemical suit.

I've seen hundreds of pictures of soldiers, in action and not, and not one is wearing a chemical suit. I bet if you reviewed the photos you'd be surprised. There are basic MOPP (Mission Oriented Protective Posture, I think) levels, or at least there were back during Desert Storm. The initial level has everyone wearing their suit, but no mask or gloves. So at first glance you wouldn't notice anything out of the ordinary. MOPP 4 includes everything on, with imminent danger of attack. We didn't take our suits off for days, but the masks et al went on and off as the MOPP level changed.
