Anyone else find it intriguing these stories of rigged bridges that our boys are constantly defusing? Seems to me that whoever set the explosives didn't want to stick around to light the match as the Americans approach.
I'm sure we've got lots of phantoms popping up out of rivers by these bridges, as well...

It takes some major league guts to detonate a demolition when the enemy is advacing and tearing your unit to shreds plus our forces are known for seizing key objectives with helicopter troops then sending the tanks quickly up.
