Prime Minister of Canada "Chirac" or is it Critien? KEep the US dollar home. Drink Bud not Molson.

they encountered such fierce anti-Americanism that they will think twice before returning. Although it's just a short drive, it's been years since I've been to Canada. Guess it'll be years more before I go back, now. And it's time to quit that occasional Labatt's.

The first mistake was going there, the second was not punching their lights out, the third was not skating off the ice and going home at the first insult.

ODE TO FORMER-FRIENDS
The Yanks and Brits and Aussies
Are shedding blood tonight
In a just war to free Iraqis
They are dying for what's right
And the soldiers look to left and right
And are struck by what they don't see
They don't see the Hosers by their sides
Canada chose France and Germany
Former-friends now call them bastards
And jeer when their song is played
And a friendship they once thought was strong
Has been rapidly unmade
And it hurts their hearts and strains their minds
Like a death in the family
Canada has not chosen wise
Canada is dead to me

Too bad Canada has succumbed to the Anti-American hysteria going out in the world today. They will regret it - and we know many Canadians do NOT feel this way. But, it is a sad day to read about the Canadians who do. My grandfather was Canadian who came to this country to make a living. Right now, I would shake the dust off my feet if I left Canada and vow never to return.

We have this happenning in downtown Atlanta......
Boycott Georgia????
There is a radical element in most countries including our own....The real question is what is the Canadian Government doing? They put some of their soldiers on the ground with us in Afganistan.....many gave up their lives in battle and a friendly fire incident.
Keep in mind, I'm not overly happy with the Cretien (french) Montreal based government either....
My initial reaction is to let it blow over like a small child throwing a temper tantrum.....

There are many Canadians like me who are supporting the USA and have done a major rally etc.
These Canadian people in Montreal who did this should be thrown in jail.
But to lump all Canadians in the same boat as some have done on this thread is pretty disgusting. I have had many run ins with some pretty disgusting Americans too. But I know they are the minority and that most in America all really good people.
Same goes for Canadian people.

But we were made to feel unwelcome just about anywhere we went. If any one goes down to Hollywood Beach FL be sure to bring a Canadien Flag to burn the Beach there is loaded with American Hating (sun worshipping) French Canadiens.

The U.S. is the only reason that Canadians are free to voice their opinions.
Without us they'd have been invaded a long time ago.
To: TonyWojo
Note that the headline comes from MONTREAL - I doubt the western, english Canadians are so opposed to the war.
