France is one of more than two dozen nations with which Kuwait has defense cooperation agreements signed after the 1991 Gulf War.

France also had a defense agreement with Czechoslovakia prior to selling them off to Hitler. I have no idea why anyone would put any faith in the word of the French anymore.
