The objective journalists (Peter Arnet not least) spent the past two days criticizing the pause in front of Baghdad. Today's CENTCOM briefing makes clear that that "pause" included not only the
aerial reduction of the position held by an entire RG division but the
seizure of those positions by our ground units.
It doesn't seem to matter how many times they are cautioned that because of operational security they will not know in real time every operation which is being conducted, the objective reporters seem to be determined to humiliate themselves while simultaneously providing cover for those operations with their snotty whining.

I think Peter is CIA. I think we should start a rumor that he was the spotter for the decapitation.

My favorite reporters are the two that have been assigned to Fox. I did not know that the one injured in that fire fight is the son of the commissioner of police of NYC.
