If you notice, the comment about President Bush being called by God is not in quotes by Don Evans, as are his other remarks. I'm not sure Don said this. I have seen liberal writers make this claim and it is regarding as truth in RAT circles. I think the writer took it upon herself to ascribe this to Evans. Just my thoughts on it.

Good point. Perhaps a bit of editorializing there eh? I was surprised when I read it because it didn't sound like something Evans would say.
