I hear on Imus that CENTCOM is claiming that the Baghdad Division of the Republican Guards has been "destroyed" near Al-Kut.

That's affirmatively confirmed by CENTCOM this press conference.

CENTCOM is claiming that the Baghdad Division of the Republican Guards has been "destroyed" near Al-Kut.

"Destroyed" is the exact term used by CENTOCOM (Re: Bagdhdad Division, which was one of the weaker ones. When Medin falls, it's over.)

Now a talking head on Fox saying "maybe we'll have Baghdad before the 4 ID is in place" AFPhys predicted this many days ago.
