I guess they thought Eagleburger would write it, or would keep his mouth shut. Wrong!
Now we can have a nice letter writing campaign to the Times.
Tina Brown has a hit piece on Presidient Bush posted tonight, where she mocks his speech patterns, his intellect, and calls him a dry drunk. Also, she says most Americans wish Tony Blair was our president.
I intend to hound her as well.
That's an ignorant use of a phrase. "Dry drunk" in my definition is an alcoholic who no longer drinks but who hasnt' confronted the psychological, emotional or spiritual aspect of the disease.
I think that few people, even in the media, can argue that President Bush is one of the most spiritual leaders we've had in a long time. He's happily married, has close friends and good familiy relationships which speaks to his confident psyche. And his emotions have always seemed appropriate to the situation--also he isn't intimidated or embarrased to let them show, which is a sign of an emotionally healthy person.
Usually, the one doing the criticizing is the one with the real issues. Does Tina Brown work for the Slimes?
