Another point.....we should sign a military treaty with the new Iraq asap...giving us a few airbases....we already have 'em..then we don't need Incilrik or the base in Saudi Arabia...

I like the idea of having a slew of warplanes fully armed, a Special Ops or Marine outfit ready to roll, looking for trouble and giving the 24X7 evil eye to Syria, the Saudis and Iranians. More despotic garbage on the pile. We can share a base with the Brits on that piece of land south of Basrah that the Iranians greedily gaze at with their lovesick scowls and baselessly claim as their own.
