The 'fifth column' press will just start carping about the rebuilding process about 2 minutes after victory.

You're prolly right about that. Nary a cheer or word of celebration about the victory for either our forces or the Iraqi's will be heard from that side. They will want to quickly sweep us all along into the next dark difficult task that looms and keep the controversy mills churning.

I for one, don't think we should allow it. We should resist it vehemently. Maybe a Freeper emailing, telephoning campaign to insist that our victory and troops efforts get the recognition they so well deserve.

I'm not saying re-building isn't vital, it is. But it's important for the coalition to savor and honor victory too. Something the 5th column won't want to see happening at all.

The tide of events has overwhlemed the Media. They are now in a territory of confusion, in where there are too many fanstastic things -- key pillars of belief -- they espouse that a person would have to accept that run counter to blatant, unignorable, perfectly clear reality .People will abandon them for sanity. Look for bigger drops than ever before in newspaper readership and major net viewership.
