The Security Council, as we type, is doing everything it can go get its hands on that oil for money fund. The UN makes about 22 MILLION dollars a year on it.

Point is, we still come first. We can sell whatever oil we want or acquire any other Iraqi assets we want to pay for the war and for reconstruction. This is above and beyond the Oil for Food program, which the Administration purports to support.

As I write this, we essentially own the oil Iraqi fields, careful and prudent rhetoric from the Administration notwithstanding.
