I vote to replace Belly Girl with Jessica Lynch starting with tomorrow's thread.

My two cents: Belly Girl is our "pin-up" gal. PFC Lynch is a soldier and a hero. Of the two, PFC Lynch gets "top billing" and is treated with Honor. Belly Girl remains our Pin-up and should be posted as we have done in the past.

The battle must be waged on many fronts:

PFC Lynch — fighting on the battlefield against foreign enemies.
Belly Girl — fighting on the homefront against domestic enemies.

Jessica Lynch is most definitely a "soldier and a hero" as you say, and should be treated accordingly. After all she's been through, I doubt if she would appreciate being regarded as a "pin-up girl." Let's respect her dignity.

You fellows are on your own with BG (and Laurie Dhue), although I might just add that it's been a little frustrating at times trying to weed through so many off-topic posts to find the real news about the war.

My guess is that Lynch has been thru hell and would not appreciate being a pin up. A heroin maybe for surviving, but not in the same page with the beloved belly girl who is a pinup of sorts.
