They [Special REpublican Guard] feel relative security from harm. That has enabled our spies and covert operatives to move about more widely and unobtrusively. If Baghdad was buttoned down, the intel efforts would be severely limited.

I agree that somebody on the ground knows who they are and where they are. I bet the members of the SRG aren't feeling all that secure though.

This has been a masterful campaign. You can bet the leaders of other countries have noticed. This is a new kind of warfare, and we play for keeps.

I think any military or Saddam's goons that are in Baghdad better stay in large groups. When the city sees thousands of our troops on the outskirts of the city, any goons found alone or in a small group will be dispatched by 'the peons'. The rats will be betrayed in the holes they're hiding in by everyday citizens.
