Watch out for the Special RG

I thought they were the ones that are in Baghdad. The regular old Rep. Guard couldn't be inside Baghdad proper as I understood. Why makes no sense at all

I think the SRG sports some decent tanks. Not a match for ours, but not necessarily in city.

I think Baghdad will go "similar" to Basra. Maybe less intense, but certainly for a longer time. I doubt we'll "do anything sudden" or "large" once we are at the city gates. Mostly help the people get things under control, and root out Saddam's gang of thugs.

Regular RG are well trained, well armed and well paid. Special RG are well trained, well armed, well paid and extermely loyal to Saddam. Thus to minimize coop possibilities only the Special RG can be in the capital city.

He was afraid of being deposed in an armed coup.
