I've always be a fan of Rommel, Patten and the Blitzkrieg. I think we just refined it and put a Yankee Doodle tattoo on it. I must agree. We may be witnessing a new wrinkle in military tactics. History shows that many military plans are designed to fight the previous war -- and the initial phase of a new conflict involves learning some costly lessons before new tactics are developed. Maybe we have learned this time to use the new tactics from the start -- and avoid those initial brutal mistakes.

Dash past the blocking force to pin and attack the main body ....
Not dash around the main force to destroy its support.
Wish I could spell 'audacity'.
