OK...let me see if I understand this right.

101st is lightly armored force transported in LOTS of helicopters. Their purpose is to put "boots on the ground" wherever needed.

Infantry and armored divisions are there to knock holes in the evildoers (so those boots can get on the ground).

Fox News ran a segment about the overwhelming support for the war, and used a Free Republic spokesman for the entire segment. FR was mentioned. THere is a separate thread with lots of details. Notice how sluggish the system is right now?
