I don't think even ABC talked about it. This was back on the 20th, I believe.

Hehehe, I've been a fan since college. Which version of the Hanukkah song do you like? There's like 3 or 4 of them.
Fox - CentCom just now confirming that we've crossed the "red zone"

A soldier is talking with his wife on TV. Sounds like she gave birth since he's been in Iraq.

It's very interesting no matter when it first came out. Leads to all sorts of possibilities to keep the imagination going.

Paitence problem?
And yes, it's German. I tried for the name Die_Fledermaus, but it was taken or it wouldn't work. I was #1244, maybe it wasn't that easy.
But I'm not German. Just a name. I'm actually, yuck, British. Ancestors born in London in the early 1700's and came to America right before/after Revolution.

I still don't trust the politicos on this one. Why did they call a news conference and drag it out for 90 minutes. I'm afraid that was politics to counter the lies in the media on the "pause" and "plans" etc. The reason was that it was something like 3 am in Qatar and all the journalists were at their hotels in bed. They'd never been called in during the overnight before, and the briefing room was literally almost empty until not long before it started.
Buzz has it that they were originally planning a longer news conference, but were so massively POed at ABCNEWS radio, NBC TV and/or the AP (take your pick) for breaking the embargo and running the story early, that's why what's-his-name came out, said two sentences and walked off.

He needed to do it a long time ago, hopefully he'll do it now... better late than never.

I'll buy that for a some of it. But why be stupid enough to inform the press and think they'd hold off?
I think that was politics. Actually, I still think some low level moron jumped the gun.

It shows most of the major buildings in the city. The only 1 I can't locate is the "Ministry Of Information" though I think it might be listed on the map as something like "S.O. Television and Communication".

Fox is right. MSNBC completely changed their story from one segment to the next. They didn't backtrack, didn't apologize. For 15-20 minutes they were absolutely stating flat-out that CENTCOM had confirmed all 11 were American servicemen, then after the commercials they were reporting what Fox was (11 dead, who knows who they are), as if they'd been reporting the same thing all along. David Shuster's report, changed. Alex Witt's teleprompter, changed. On-screen graphics, changed.

I wondered why one of the spokes people made it a point to thank Fox News for their professionalism as a news organization. I kept waiting for the news conference and must have missed it. It must have been VERY short.

They've been a thorn in the side of the President for decades.
The way it's written, they are worse than rogue CIA. I don't understand what is so hard about slapping around wimpie bureaucrats. I'll volunteer!

Shirley Jackson Lee is saying we should get out of Iraq. Instead we should bring Saddam before the International Criminal Court.
I'm sure he would show up, aren't you?
