Exactly what I'm thinking especially since they think it's an honor to die for their "cause", that they get their 72 virgins!

I've had a pretty good chuckle looking at some of the posted articles which are appearing in the newspapers today. Several of those are along the theme of "pause for 2 weeks for the 4th ID - not enough supplies - too few troops - resistance very tough" LOL... ROTFL !!!

It's pretty quiet unless there is a traffic accident.
This camera shot is northeast of our favorite intersection, you can tell by the round drive and the phallic building on the left.
But as we know, that camera was destroyed.

Good thing you're not in college now since you, from what you said, did find some then.

I looked at the maps and tried to compare it to this intersection. This one is facing almost due east isn't it?
Please don't refer me to the weather maps, they confuse me horribly :).

Pretty close to due east...it's now on zoom though.
I'll still throw in some "northeast", but if you remember the other view, the road just north split and you could tell it was part of the loop on the "round".
But I think you are correct, more east.

I was getting a bit of the north in there too. I don't agree about the other camera however, I think that road led to a bridge over the Tigris. I've based that on viewing the map that someone posted on 1 of these daily threads. I could be way off on it but I tried to judge it by Mosque location with the understanding the the Ministry of Info was right on the river.

Hi everyone.
Did anyone catch that little tid-bit by Greg Jerret talking about the ABC White House reporter who saw George Tennet the day after the hit on the command bunker last week with a big smile on his face and lighting up a cigar?
