CBS cam back to Baghdad. Saddam still waving and call to prayer in background. Given the time, that's probably an air raid call.

Can't get CBS, but if I turn pmsnbe way, way up, I can hear Achmed singing. If a bomb drops, it's going to knock me out of my chair.
To: Poser
Heh. Not quite 4000 last night. Sorry, Poser.

OMG - Rick just talking about the incident of the M16 going off in the sleeping bag...
To: DollyCali
Thanks Dolli. Not gonna happen today (good news). It's over 50 and sunny here in the great white northeast today. I'm going to get out my bicycle and ride up the hill for a hot dog for lunch. We can actually see the ground in some places.

I'm bringing CBS BagCam up now; I'll be checking in here from time to time (between phone calls and e-mails and letters being written - I'm going to find a job, dammit!). I'm also going to start (later today) updating my blog on a regular basis so as to keep pushing toward getting my book done...[sigh]

Did you catch the remark by one of the FOX military commentators say yesterday about 'winning the hearts and minds'?
He said...."We lost their hearts and minds during the Crusades!".

I'd kind of like to see one of our guys drive a tank up to that statue and "lasso" it, rodeo style, in honor on their Texas CINC.

(ahem) No Fox babe pics...
Just a request...
Can ANYONE post for me the photo I saw a few days ago on one of these threads, of Bush and his immediate advisors (Rummy, Condoleezza, etc.? It was a great black-and-white small photo, and someone had captioned it "The Winning Team" and later "The REAL Republican Guard." anyone got that? would you post, and I promise this time to save it.
To: DollyCali
Arrrrggghhhh! Sky Guy at Kutter questioning whether we really did destroy the Baghdad division. How could we have accomplished this? Also, if it's true, then what's holding us back from storming Baghdad. And when we do, we'll see if there are enough troops and if Tommy Franks' plan was flawed.
This guy is not just covertly hostile, he is flaming!
To: melodie
Glad you got to hear that call.
To: Lauratealeaf
I thought of you when I saw this yesterday. You seem like you would have some good smart questions to ask...
From Fox Fan Central:
Ask Major Bob
Does the U.S. have enough troops on the ground in Iraq? Can we survive house-to-house fighting with Saddam's Republican Guard? You ask the questions and FNC military analyst Major Bob Bevelacqua will answer. E-mail us at yourquestions@foxnews.com.
