LOL! You and me both! (I wonder if we FReepers have a higher-than-average incidence of SPAM attacks. Speculation, if so, could we be being targetted with malice-aforethought by one of our home-grown evil-doers?)
It wouldn't surprise me, but I'm pretty careful not to associate my RL email address(es) with my Freeper nick. I have other security measures I take as well to prevent DUmmy and/or spammer harassment as a result of my activities here.
However, in the case of the spam run I'm working on, I believe it originated because I post in some anti-spam newsgroups over in Usenet; a little childish "revenge" by spanked spammers. That's OK though - at the end of the day, I'll still have my email account and they'll lose their Internet account; just another day at the office for me.
