If I had a laser I SWEAR I would take out al Jazeera's main satellite.
They post NONE of this on their website nor do they report it from the Middle East/Iraq by TV remote.
We need to hijack their signal and start airing this is Arabic far and wide. Those Ba'athist animals are cruel and every one of them needs to be put down for it, and al Jazeera needs to cover it.

If you have a building that you designate a School, Hospital, Mosque - Church, Milk Processing Plant...what ever, is it still the original designation once it harbours troups and Ammo? I don't think so, it no longer holds those titles but WEAPONS CACHE,an should be treated as such. Forget about being PC, we are going to build new buildings anyway. Keep bombing at night, Children aren't in school then..

I would've knocked them off the air with the first Tomahawk and, if we absolutely have to have reporters at the front, allow only one or two pool reporters.

This may be giving Saddumb more credit than he deserves, but it seems to me a good propaganda strategy would be to leave caches of non-WMD weapons in places where our forces will find them, thus giving the press the opportunity to state "While numerous caches of weapons have been found, no evidence of weapons of mass destruction has been uncovered."

In the "kulturkampf", that pits brother against sister in this country, (my sister is a "Green") this is an argument that goes to the question of why we needed to invade.
How else would we have dislodged weapons caches from schools, hospitals, residences. etc? Lobbing a few missiles? Letting the inspectors have more time? Raising consciousness? Protesting in the streets? Praying? Hoping?
PS None of this would work on my sister, but it may work on others who are not so far gone.

Yikes!
I'll bet we see Sarah Brady and the Million Mommies out protesting Saddam over this.

Actually, articles like this show the value of the embeds...Me thinks that after hostilities end, there's gonna be a bigger war, on two front..the first between the embeds, and those who remained either at CentCom or back in the states; and the second battle between most general officers and a bunch of retired ARMY generals who can't keep their mouths shut..

Wait till they can get into the mosques......Yes, it would be in keeping with their policy of dressing as civilians and terrrorist tactics; they want the publicity of us blowing up mosques very badly. Would help them with the Shi'ites big time... It is amazing how restrained we've been, but I often wonder if it's a mistake.
