Columbia U Alumni in particular should demand a through house cleaning of the anti-American Left that populates the university. They might start by with holding their endownments and other funding to the institution by letting its administration know reforms are long overdue. And parents and prospective students might want to consider attending other schools as part of an effort to drive the message home. If Columbia is hurt enough in its pocketbook perhaps the outrages of the likes of Nicolas de Genova and Edward Said will one day be histoire.

I did exactly what you suggest, earlier this evening. As a Columbia College alumnus, I received my periodic call from the university, soliciting contributions and politely told the young man that perhaps after they canned de Genova and their new, socialist president and permitted opposing points of view to be expressed on campus, I wouldn't even consider contributing. Hinting that I was not the only one expressing these views, he thanked me and took my advice to call the next name on his list.
