It doesn't matter. It's been more than 24 hours. It wouldn't count anyway. I haven't seen American Ex or Null and Void lately. Have you?

I love watching B52s take off. I used to live in the flight pattern for a SAC base.

Nope. Only posts within a 24-hour time frame count.
I don't see Null and void or An.American.Expatriate, so can you start the new Day 14 thread? And add the screamer here?
(There are usually plenty of volunteers to post Belly Girl.)

I remember the BUFFs being so loud on take off and their wing tips looking like they would drag on taxi. KC-135 tanker is only other A/C I can think of that is so loud.

The fact that he apparently didn't realize what he did was wrong when questioned the next morning strikes me as odd. As for him not being yanked right away, he did have a good relationship with the military and it probably had to go through the chain of command and an honorable retreat of Geraldo was done as a favor to Fox instead of having him yanked and embarrased on the spot.Yes, you're right, that's plausible and even probable. But both of those things are just the oddities that make me wonder. I think the RG is so outclassed that all we need is to draw them into making a move. Any move.
Letting the well known showmaker, Geraldo, appear to give out some vital info might be all it would take to get an ego maniac like Saddam to order an assault. It is obvious that we want to take them on out on a battlefield rather than house to house in Baghdad.

Old engines.... Less efficient.
But word in the B-52 community is that the AF won't change 'em for modern (747-style) high-bypass engines.
