Also in that article you linked was the discovery of an apparent torture chamber. *sigh* I shudder to think of the stories that are going to come out of Iraq when this is over.

I don't recall anyone standing over Geraldo, maybe walking by but not inspecting his report. Second anyone watching would probably assumed the report was being taped for later broadcast as what Geraldo did was IMO incredibly stupid.

If Geraldo had not been informed what to do and not to do he should have asked for guidelines and cleared his broadcast ahead of time. He was way out of line, but I don't think he was trying to be hurtful, just unthinking, trying to show off. Stupid thing is he not only put his unit in danger but himself....If someone had gotten hurt on the mission because of his showboating, Geraldo might have ended up being a frag victim...we are lucky nobody did get hurt and Geraldo won't have the opportunity to screw up again...mistakes in war can be fatal...he definately lacked common sense in this situation....

I don't like Geraldo, your a buffoon and my knowledge of the military wasn't relevant to the questions I posed. The point of whether 'jerry' was with the Army or Marine Corps is trivial to the question. In fact I did know the 101st is Army, I'm tired and didn't vet my post for irrelevant details. This Live thread has gone without flamewars from its inception so I won't continue with you. Catch me on another thread sonny boy and I'll rip a little turd like you a new one. Count on it.

Hey Commish....though season for you guys. My son played in a President's Day tournament (Squirt level) in Rochester this February. Talked to a lot of Sabres fans up there... We've been there!! Hang in with those guys! Look at how fast Carolina dropped! I think the Sabres will be back into the playoffs within the next two years.
