Generaly Myers and Rummy smacked the reporters really good today. Watch the replay or go to cspan and see if they have it up on their web site yet.

Hey, just got home, can someone please give me a rundown of what's happened today, newswise?

Well, it's April Fool's Day! Saddamn is a no-show, Beret Boy read his statement--CNN, BBC, Sky all treating it as the real thing straight from the Butcher himself.

Fox reported that the checkpoint incident was a setup.

Jerry is still with 101st.

And we're trying to confirm that the report of 8 missing Marines that have been found is true.

Anyway she was ranting and raving about Bush and Iraq and said "The last time a country's sovreignty was invaded was by the Nazis in WWII and your president is evil."

***

If you do find occasion to speak to her again, and she brings up 'your' president, ask her why 'her' president sent American troops to Haiti.

I read that Fox and the Pentagon have decided to "voluntarily" remove Geraldo.

I think it's on the Fox website even.

Ask her what she thinks of the scene in Dr.Shivago where the Red Party people come to their house and say they have too much room for one family and have to give up part of the house to groups of complete strangers. Thats the next step after income parity.

"Two Iraqi soldiers who said they were sent on a suicide attack mission to the country's largest port have turned themselves in to British troops," the Associated Press reports. The AP quotes Col. Steve Cox of the Royal Marines: "We had two suicide bombers turn themselves in yesterday because they didn't want to be suicide bombers any more. We are accommodating them." BOTW - Opinion Journal

I'm just imagining these guys appearing on Fox or CNN, and the subtitle beneath their faces. Omar & Ali, Suicide Bombers, Ret.

I know this is not funny (at all - they were forced into doing it), but the prospect of Retired Suicide Bombers just tickles my funny bone this afternoon. (They must not have been very good at it, you know!)

If it hasn't been mentioned already, I think Iraq invaded Kuwait about ten or twelve years ago.

"We had two suicide bombers turn themselves in yesterday because they didn't want to be suicide bombers any more.

That sentence strikes me as hilarious. Once you do the job one time, you are no longer a suicide bomber (you are no longer anything as a matter of fact). So.....they never were actually suicide bombers, now were they?
