Yes, it (.30 cal) is a carbine...I love carbines (I'm a shorty)
I like the M1 better than the Mini 30..that thing slams and rattles so bad--thought it was going to knock the fillings out of my teeth! The .30 cal is inexpensive to shoot. I buy bulk from Cheaper than dirt.

Before the beginning of the war I was visiting with my aunt. She used to work for a former dem Congressman who was unseated in his run for senate in an attempt to capitalize on the fact that his uncle was a former senator. So she's parroting the party line.

Anyway she was ranting and raving about Bush and Iraq and said "The last time a country's sovreignty was invaded was by the Nazis in WWII and your president is evil." I kid thee not, I could but stare. Needless to say, I'm avoiding her simply because she becomes overly emotional and froths at the mouth. Fact does not sink in with her.

She needs to be de-programmed.

RG units from up north are being shifted to the south to fill in for forces lost to our bombings..

There was a report yesterday I think (the days are blurring together, and I'm not keeping any notes) of some Nebucahnezzer troops being located or sent to reinforce Medina. I don't recall any numbers being reported.

News reports today are that two RG Divisions south of Baghdad are estimated to be at 50% strength. One of these would be Medina, which has been reported as getting beat up pretty good. Medina had, in the past, been reported as the strongest and most capable Division, so it makes sense to "beat the biggest bully first." I have heard no name associated with the other 50% degraded RG Division.

I would have politely headbutted her in a lady-like way (Mom would be pleased) and asked her, "so who attacked whom on 9/11?" Of course, her answer would be, "that's different." When you point out that Clinton bombed Iraq in 1998 using almost identical language to Bush #43, she'd say, "that's different." You question to both is "why is that different" and watch 'em squirm.

Did he do the line about Bush not being elected, but being appointed by the Supreme Court? I heard a great response to this on the radio the other day. If someone says that Bush's presidency is not legal, suggest to them that abortion is not legal, as it was only a supreme court decision.
