Well it's his call, I can see how it could be a problem, it is RIGHT by the lake downtown.
This is the phrase I was looking for:
"Regardless of the FAA decision, I want to assure the owners of the aircraft the city will reimburse them for the expenses of removing the planes from Meigs."
Those planes might end up being trucked out of there (I guess that's how you move a plane that you can't fly out) if the FAA wants to be a hardass.
