he was giving Sean the finger, by holding his hand with his middle finger up on the right side of his face!!! I guess he thought only Sean would see it and not the audience. What a childish jerk!

I thought he did give him the finger. Right after the 'episode' he had his hand at the side of his face with what looked like his middle finger beside his ear. They showed the side shot a few times.
