Columbia U. PING - Anyone see Hannity tell his guest "Do you need help?"
Self

Posted on 03/31/2003 6:53:08 PM PST by tuna_battle_slight_return

Anyone see Bill Hartung being interviewed by Hannity regarding the professor at Columbia? Priceless.

Hartung yells at Hannity, "put your finger down. Don't point that finger at me. I'll give you another finger". Hannity: "go right, ahead".

And then Hartung says to Alan, "Alan, is it just Hannity's show, or do you do anything here?".

I think Hannity asked the guy if he needed or was on medication. I remember Hannity saying, "Do you need HELP"?

Alan, to his credit, said to the guy, "Don't insult my cohost like that" (and Hannity gave Colmes a "thumbs-up"). Pricless.

Another comment was, "I know how you (Hannity) and O'Reilly operate. Trying to scare and dominate your guests".

What a loser. What could have been an interview turned into "must see" TV (watch pathetic liberal loser get hostile towards BOTH Sean and Alan).

I hope they re-run the "interview" later tonight or tomorrow.

This nutcase was so defensive that no matter what Sean said he was ready to attack.

Yea, he accused Sean of putting words in his mouth, and when Colmes said "he didn't", he replied "He would've!". Pathetic.

Truly, a thing of beauty and a joy to behold.

Sean really got into his knickers, didn't he?

ROFOLMAO!

That dude completely blew a gasket. I thought he was about to take a swing at Hannity.

Sean would kick the s**t out of him. Hell, even Alan would kick the s**t out of him.

You're right, no substance, won't make it. He didn't even try to speak intelligibly, just ranted at Sean in a spiteful way.

The only way that it could make it into the stack, is if Rush runs out of Sheila Jackson Lee/Maxine Waters/Jerry Nadler tapes or Tom Daschle "disappointments".......

:)

Who or what is a Bill Hartung?

Still a virgin after all these years, no doubt.

BLAST!I just missed this exchange cause I was watching the Bruins game!

I hope none of it gets cut for the 2:00 AM showing here. I guess I won't start jogging tomorrow, either! (Fox News Induced Sleep Deprivation, I love it!)

"Yea, he accused Sean of putting words in his mouth, and when Colmes said "he didn't", he replied "He would've!"."

The "but, but, but, but, but he would've" charge was insane. 'Sir, let's stick to the 'here and now'. You need to live in the present and react to what is happening around you -- not to things that haven't even happened.

Sadly, due to FOX's new schedule, I don't think H&C is repeated anymore. Here's the current schedule: Schedule

Education: B.A. in philosophy, magna cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa, Columbia University

What the hell is guy with only a BA in philosophy doing by claiming he is an "expert" in international weapons and arms? Is he going to give us parallels about Aristotle and the civilian bandwidth access issues of the Global Positioning system?

I guess getting your tripe printed in the New York Times is resume fodder for this guy--I would be ashamed of it.

You gotta get COX digital cable. All Fox News, All The Time! It's great, I love it, and the major Fox News broadcasts rotate (Repeat in rotation) until about 6 AM. I'll get to see H&C at 2:00 AM Eastern time; I only hope they don't edit it!

That WAS funny! Even Alan Colmes had to tell fellow liberal Bill Hartung to "calm down". LOL

This was priceless. "don't point your finger at me." Colmes said "I am not pointing my finger at you, this is my palm." Hannity kept asking: did you read my book, did you like my book, do you want me to sign my book, while this jerk was talking to colmes. It was the funniest thing.

Is there any higher compiment for a journalist than to be compared to Bill O'Reilly?
Missed the interview with Hardung but caught the Oliver North segment. I don't see how anyone could possibly try and dispute Oliver North's assessment of our progress in the war.
I found the interview with the woman from Newsweek pretty amusing, too.

Has Fox News been re-running any of its shows like it used to before the Iraq war? I've pulled a couple of (almost) all-nighters recently, and FNC has been completely LIVE throughout the night/early morning. For example, Linda Vester is on now LIVE reporting on the war... the rerun of Brit Hume's "Special Report" used to be in the 12 midnight - 1AM time slot. (I'm in the eastern time zone, if that makes any difference.)
