President Bush headed to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania today to speak about Homeland Security and Operation Iraqi Freedom to a crowd that included many Coast Guard members. The President thanked the Coast Guard for their duty in Operation Liberty Shield, and praised their readiness. Bush also took the opportunity to thank the men and women of the Armed Forces who are serving in Iraq. The President returned to Washington later in the day. Enjoy your daily dose of Dubya!

Did you see the video and stills of the Miramar rally on the 23rd? They were great! We've got to say hi to each other one of these rallys, eh?

Haha! You have a Kujo dog? That sounds precious. My little dog is shedding her winter coat fast and furious. I think I sucked enough fur with the vacuum cleaner to make four new dogs.

He looks so alone in 28. I wish our Lovely Laura were there to put her arm around him.

Isn't it so awesome at the rallies. I went to one at Saturday, and when I first saw the large crowd of people waiving dozens upon dozens of American flags both large and small, I was just overcome with emotion. I just stood there in amazement at how great we Americans are. I met a Vet at the rally and she has three kids around my age all serving or in the process of serving. We talked and cried a little. I learned so much from this woman. I've only been to two different rallies, but this was the best so far.

Yep, "kuj" can be so sweet, sleeping on your lap, like a little angel one minute...then BLAMMO - she's possessed! ha ha...the 11 yr old Dachshund just shakes his head in disgust and says, "She's just NOWT spish-toe-kay-ted, like me!" It's funny around here.

Thank you, especially for the prayers. Things are going well, or as well as they can for moving. I'm kind of excited about the new house, but my daughter is sad to leave this one. I'll have to jolly her through it, lol.

Awwwww.....HAPPY BIRTHDAY Ladies!

Yes, and our newest member of our Republican Women Federated group was there at the Sunday downtown rally, too. She is from Russia and she just can't do enough or say enough to support this country! -- Oddly enough, out of all those people, I actually got to see her there. --She's an inspiration!
Everyone is so great to talk to and the cheering and horn honking is deafening! So many (myself included) called people on their cell phones to share the day...it was unbelieveable!!!!
When taxi's would drive by with passengers looking bewildered with all the excitement, hubby and I would yell, "WELCOME TO SAAAAN DIEGO!!!!" and smile! What a great day!!!

No idea, McLynnan.
We had a family support meeting yesterday, and heard there are only 6 phones on the entire base, and very long lines.
We raised a polite boy......he's probably letting the husbands and fathers call first. At the meeting there were only 3 or 4 people who had gotten calls, but they all said they were well, and busy.
We have no idea how long it will be before they move out, but for now they are relatively safe.

I never thought anyone would capture my heart the way President Reagan did. I was wrong. May the LORD continue to bless our most excellent President Bush.
Thank you, dear rintense, for your continued work!
