President Bush headed to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania today to speak about Homeland Security and Operation Iraqi Freedom to a crowd that included many Coast Guard members. The President thanked the Coast Guard for their duty in Operation Liberty Shield, and praised their readiness. Bush also took the opportunity to thank the men and women of the Armed Forces who are serving in Iraq. The President returned to Washington later in the day. Enjoy your daily dose of Dubya!

Newsweek also asked the following question: How long would you continue to support the war?

An incredible 50% said they would continue to support the war even if it lasted over a year! Another 22% indicated that they would support the war for several months/up to a year! Good news for the President/Pentagon!

GREAT poll numbers! And 50% would support the war if it lasted ONE YEAR! I bet the pressitutes just hate to see that statistic. I did see some of Dick Morris on Hannity and Colmes and he was telling the Pentagon and the administration NOT TO WORRY - the American people are with you, they support you, and they trust you.
