AS I was reading the article, I did see a parallel between what went on in France and what is going on in this country.
We have Muslims who are evidently very influential - they have quite a lot of access to the White House and to Congress. The have their own schools and publishing houses. They established mosques and charities to send money to terrorists.
In a very few years, we have come from arresting Christian children praying around a flagpole before the start of school to special rooms in school for the Muslim children to pray during the day.
Don't forget that Saddam probably could not have gotten the power he did without our aid. Didn't we continue to buy oil from him?
Aren't we bending over backwards so we don't insult the Saudis?
Rather than the fun, but total uselessness, of bashing France, we should be asking some very hard questions of our politicians, at all levels. I am not sure most people have the courage to do that. IT would be admitting perhaps politicians,e ven the ones we like, are not acting in the best interest of the US.

Amen. We should be boycotting the Iraqi oil rather than French Bordeaux wine.
