You are entitled to your opinion and I am entitled to minw.
I don't care that you don't care. That is fine. That is your privilege.
I'll just simply make a point to skip anything further posted by you. Easy enough.
BTW, I agree re: Heads rolling in the CIA. It needs to be cleaned out from top to bottom of all the leftover Clintonistas who would like nothing better than to let the Iraqi's know everything we have planned, are planning, will plan in order to ensure our defeat and in order to ensure the furtherance of the power crazed goals of their "Dear Leader" Hillary Clinton!
Our President is a very peaceful man who strongly hoped that the full force of our militlary would not be needed to dislodge the terrorist in Baghdad. Sadly, it will require that full force. Further, I am sure while some did underestimate the power of the brutality of the Iraqi "enforcers" against the innocent civilians of Iraq preventing them from joining us in the "revolt" against their brutal masters - many others did not.
When the people of Iraq are freed from their enforcers, they ARE joining us, they ARE applauding us, they ARE ready for their oppressors to be killed and want to help in that way.
What is happening is that the brutalities of the Saddam regime is being shown to be even MORE HEINOUS than the worst stories coming out of that country revealed, CONFIRMING THE RIGHT in this effort to dislodge the terrorist regime from power there.
Perhaps you and Smogger would like to state clearly whether or not you support this War and/or this President.
I do find it rather sick when people question your patriotism just because you merely question some of the errors/mistakes made by your government. "FreedomsWorthIt" thats what they did in Soviet Russia- if you questioned your leadership you were shouted down (and much worse). Im a conservative and string Christian. I voted for Bush and support our soldiers fully. George W is a great man- and I am saddened that his father didnt his backbone and determination. If he had he would have taken out Saddam in Gulf War 1 However I dont have blind and naive allegiance to George W- and that is the way it should be in a democracy (Watergate anyone?). Rumsfeld has screwed up in his micromanagement of the deployment (please leave that to the Generals Rummy). Powell has screwed up by promising Bush a second UN resolution. I own my own company- people who make such mistakes in my company dont last long. Im sure Bush has the same principles. We will win the war- but I have a deep fear for the peace. Our recent history at peace keeping doesnt inspire. Our withdraw in Somalia under Clinton and our withdraw in the Lebanon under Reagan illustrates this. "FreedomsWorthIt" wrote "they ARE joining us, they ARE applauding us, they ARE ready for their oppressors to be killed and want to help in that way." Cheap shot maybe- but you tell that to the bus full of woman and children we shot up today- killing 7 women and children- YES women and children. Im no peacenik- I realise that this war is the lesser of two evils (war vs Saddam staying in power). However as a Christian and Conservative I have the RIGHT to question our tactics when avoidable events like this happen. You sir have no RIGHT to question my patriotism.
