FREEPERS...please take action on this TODAY. On Wed. April 2, the VA house of delegates and VA Senate go into session to handle Gov. Warner's vetoes and amendments.
As a liberal, pro-abortion Governor, Warner has killed or weakened pro-life legislation.
Please contact your Delegate and Senator TODAY and ask them to take the following action....
OVERRIDE VETO of Estate tax repeal. This unfair death tax hurts Virginia's farmers and small businesses...Warner is playing class warfare politics with my tax dollars.
OVERRIDE VETO of Choose Life License plates (HB 1406). This bill would raise money for adoptions in Virginia. Warner is catering to Planned Parenthood and Virginia's abortion industry.
OVERRIDE AMENDMENT on Parental Consent for Abortion (HB 1402) Warner's amendment to not require a notarized statement from parents makes this bill worthless...anybody could sign the consent form.
OVERRIDE AMENDMENT on Partial Birth Abortion Ban (HB 1541) This wide and vague "Health" exception means any women who wants to kill her child at 9 months can get any doctor to say it might impact her mental health...thus allowing all partial birth abortions.
