I think everyone here is way too rough on Geraldo. He was doing a great job and has charisma. So what? He was very Pro-America since 9-11, and I think we should give him the benefit of the doubt. He had no history of treasonous behavior, as Arnett did. Boy, talk about fair weather friends.

Geraldo is on Fox right now, so CNN was lying.

I agree with you.
Some folks on this thread are using "histronics" of their own.
Sure, he's a camera hog but I'm convinced the troops like him.

Well...one thing: people on THIS site thought Geraldo was the lowest while he was on MSNBC and had his other show. When he switched to Fox I think a lot of folks thought he had suddenly changed his basic professional character. He wanted to do more serious stuff than his typical cable confrontation show (all the news channels now do these) so he went out in the field. After a month or two, people who used to consider Geraldo an enemy of the people because he didn't like Ken Starr, etc. Then he goes to Fox and suddently he's a great guy. The fundemental way he OPERATES never changed. He is not the most responsible or level headed journalist. And because he's on Fox and supports the war does not negate his fundamental professional flaws. If he gets a pass on this, something will arise again in a year or so. It is a pattern.
