I have a feeling that the battle for Baghdad is going to be a total surprise. I don't think it's going to go the way anyone thinks. I have no doubt that it'll be a success, but it's going to happen in a way none of us ever imagined.

I pray you are right. While none of us likes the idea of collateral damage, when it comes right down to it - it is either them or us and we had better begin to take that VERY seirously. World opinion? Perhaps we should stop all the foreign aid and see what "world opinion" is then.

I have been saying all along, Rumsfeld and Franks have a big surprise. They have a plan no one has figured out yet. Iraq being able to follow with the imbedded reporters is figured into it somehow for a purpose of plan in addition to assuring accurate reporting. I watch by the hour, suffer over the horrible losses, (although unbelievably low), but I never get upset and I am waiting for the unexpected.
