Hey, I think this is a great story and I hope our military personnel and the newly liberated Iraqi citizens become friends. But I am concerned that somebody in the crumbling Saddam regime might see this story and disguise some of their soldiers as civilians with poisoned food. I sure hope that this does not happen.

As one who ate a lot of MRE's in my time, I can understand the Marines being eager to wolf this stuff down.

I don't claim to have found it all, but if you find me 'alien' in my search for God's truth, I do feel sorry for you. And as for political truth......I base my view on it's relationship to Scriptural truth. We may disagree on points, but if you find me 'alien' there, then you are not a Conservative.

Most of us search for God's truth on this forum, you're not alone there. Many of us are very familiar with scripture as well.

There's a time and place for everything. But we're slowly becoming a more socialist. less moral and more warlike nation. Keep it up and we'll become an evil nation, and God will certainly smite us. I'm not sure if we're there yet, but we're getting there. The Clintons and Bushes have gotten us in more wars since they've come upon us than we were in from the civil war until Reagan left office. No, it's not all everyone else's fault either.

I tell you what.........I'll give you a high five only if you can accurately tell me what my 'worldview' is. But it won't happen because you don't have a clue, son.........not a clue.

Maybe sometime you and I could have an honest dialogue on what we actually believe, but I doubt that's possible. Because you don't have the self-discipline, or respect for others who might differ slightly, that would allow you to find out where they really stand, and discuss it civilly.

You aren't mature enough to discuss issues without name calling......I've seen proof of that over and over again in your posts. If you ever do grow up, get back to me, and we'll talk......like adults. We might just agree on a whole lot of Conservative issues, if you'd open your mind enough to find out what I really do believe, as opposed to what you think I believe. (As for that 'golden calf' nonsense......LOL! I needed my laugh for the day, you silly boy!)

Get some sleep and recuperate. This is going incredibly well and the bulk of our power has yet to be deployed. You can't fall into the trap the RATS have and have Bush hatred blind you to reality.

The reality is the Saddamites here and abroad are getting the shiiite kicked out of them and a fundamental historical change is occuring around us. For the better.

Get a good night's sleep your country is in good hands. Far better hands than it has been for a long time. After rest you can return to whacking the Power but with more sensibility.

I think you might be right with Hotel California being about getting high on the green bud.

There is another sinnister conspiracy theory trveling around the net regarding Hotel California...Urban legand...I don't know what to believe.

There is a "church" in San Francisco called The First Church Of Satan. The Eagles were said to be members of this so-called "church". (In other words, they are claimed to be devil worshippers). When it was first founded, it was on California Street. There is a line in the song where the guy asks for wine. The response he gets is, "We haven't had that spirit here since 1969". Wine is a symbol of the blood of Christ; 1969 was the year when the Satanic Bible was copyrighted and released. When you read the lyrics, notice that the line "(Such a lovely face)" is in parentheses. If you open the album cover you will see a party scene. Look at the windows near the top and in the middle window you will see a guy who looks like Ming The Merciless. This is Anton LaVey, founder of the satanic "church". The song is claimed to have backward-masked with the message "Satan organized, he organized his own religion".
