nah! The media will ignore it. They'll be more interested in furthering the urban legend about how damaging our weapons that use depleted uranium will be on the Iraqi landscape.

Might be an overstatement calling this a war crime. Sounds more like an often used defensive tactic by a group of people who have no intention of rolling over.

Let's keep our "war crime" beacon focused on the real things. There will be enough instances to go around.
