One news report I read indicated that the hotel floor was a smoking floor. There may have been ventilation issues. Also, smokers may be more as risk for the virus and pneumonia.

A disease that kills smokers? Uh oh, better not let the PC people know about that, they might want to encourage the spread of the disease.

One of the Hong Kong victims caught the disease from eating a meal in a restaurant with his brother. I wonder if they smoked together.
