Have to disagree with you on this one, EV. I figure a woman, who is an adult, knows what she's getting into. Not to mention that I've known more than a few woman, who I wouldn't be on the wrong side of a gun from.

The only argument that would make me hesitate is that if having women in combat positions would significantly affect the male soldiers, in that they would tend to protect their female troops, rather than carry out their missions.

My friend, a couple of days ago, when I saw the video of our murdered POWs, and hearing that there was at least one female in the group that wasn't showing up in their video, I wondered if those guys hadn't been shot because they wouldn't or couldn't take what the Iraqis were doing to her.
