CNN just reported it, but something doesn't seem right. Too much conflicting information about food, water and fuel. Wesley Clark says this is unusual operation, no historical reference, but it makes sense.

I agree. And why would you publicly tell the enemy you have no food and no fuel...yep, we're just gonna sit here in the desert and wait for food and FUEL and AMMO to catch up to us...from the rear.

Oh, gads, Rick Levinthal doesn't need any sleep does he? He's starting to sound punch drunk. He thought Shep was talking about eating mre's again. A few hours sleep and he'll be back in tip top shape.

Maybe something's up? Maybe there's going to be a big bomb in Baghdad and the generals don't want our troops within 50 miles of it???? Or maybe tis true re short supplies....they did move very fast up...but that still seems odd to not have anticipated needs for adequate supplies and ability to keep up with troops.
MHGinTN said: We might just be pausing to rid the southern region of the Fedayeen infestation so the people can get needed food and water and medical help. But the presstoads will not report that, don'tcha know!
HOWEVER: Guest on FOX (retired general???) saying, "NOT TOO MANY WARS ARE FOUGHT IN ONE WEEK (or two weeks)."
