OK, point granted. I have been listening to Mr. Liddy for only two years now. However, I can say that during those two years I have not heard him say anything that would indicate he is a womanizer. I will not argue with your personal experience. The only thing I would say is that he certainly has changed insofar as that he has never mentioned anything of this nature during the time I have been listening

As an aside, all the conservative talk show hosts have the same basic messages. What I like about G. Gordon is that he is polite with those with whom he does not agree. That is a rare thing among the species. He also seems to have an encyclopedia knowledge of history and the law.

Nobody was more depressed than I when I heard that side of Liddy. I agree with 99.9% of what he says.

However, his total disregard for his wedding vows made me sick.

On a number of his shows he commented about the length of his "you know." Telling how different ladies find him unconfortable. Recent different ladies.

This is on the radio. How do you think his wife felt?

On one occasion, when he was defending his "prowless" to a caller, he mentioned that his daughter was upset with him over this. He just said he respectfully disagreed with her and she should run her life not his.

I have no respect for him now.

Well, I'll agree with that insofar as it goes. I love Rush, but he is HORRIBLE as soon as he gets on the air with a detractor. He splutters, he stumbles, and he falls flat. I don't know what that is.

There is one local host here in Houston who also handles "the opposition" with grace, and I think it is effective.

He also seems to have an encyclopedia knowledge of history and the law.

Oh, I dunno. He talks a good game, but I can bluff my way through in situations like that as well.

As I say: To me, conservatism without a moral underpinning is just selfishness without the hypocrisy of the Left.
