Not a missile? Then it's either another accident, like the propane tank (odds: 10%) or a terrorist bomb (odds: 90%). Either way, it's probably going to be messy.

If it is terrorism, it's not going to deter the Kuwaitis one iota. They suffered far worse under Saddam's occupation. This is like a bus bombing in Israel--not even a hundred of them could break the Israelis' will, and not even a hundred of these bombs will break the will of the Kuwaitis or diminish their hatred for Saddam.

There's just some white smoke waifting across the city. Cause unknown. Wolf says it sounded like a thud.

Blitzer says it looks like it was the first successful Iraqi missile to hit downtown Kuwait.

Nuts.

Please update the headline of this thread to reflect the fact that it was a missile strike.

PS thanks for all the hard work you're doing to keep the forum tidy right now

It was probably my neighbor. Poured gasonline on the pile of leaves, realized he did not have any matches, went and fetched them from the house, returned and lit the match. Garden Fuel Air Bomb. Kablooie...there go the neighbors windows.

This and the fact that Syria and possibly other countries have infiltrated Iraq to fight against us leads me to believe that some of those countries would love to start a huge war.
