They were misspellings by past article posters who were too excited to spell check what they wrote.

"But I tell ya, that was a whopper of a bang!"

CNN reporting big explosion in Kuwait City. Wolf Blitzer reporting no alerts or sirens, but some explosion heard downtown and now billowing smoke across the sky.

I wish I could find the original article, but it's kinda like this: someone once posted a very misspelled post, wiht huge mispelled "hugh", serious as "series" and a host of other rather random misspellings. For whatever demented reason, now if anyone misspells the word "huge" as hugh, we are supposed to respond with "SERIES" - showering follows.

I'm not sure about the showering part, we need a historian.

"I'm not sure about the showering part, we need a historian."

As I remember it, a woman made a frantic post to FR about something serious, then asked for people to keep her informed because she was going to take a shower.

ROTFL! Given cygy2k's sign-up date, this had to have been a hugh mistake. You're right; it could be very series!

Time to rething our strategery

When you stuff as much bullsheet as is in the Ministry of Information, it becomes a pretty soft target, hard to bring down with HE. Maybe if they tried igniting the methane . . .
