I can't believe all the cities banning the flag and yellow ribbons. Our public school teachers are wearing not only red, white, and blue, but also yellow ribbons and have displayed pictures of the students' relatives who are serving our country.

I have always despised that damned "tie a yellow ribbon" song. For me it stands for much that went wrong in America under Carter - as well as being a simplistic piece of saccharine ear-garbage.

I despise the whole "ribbon" thing anyway. No matter how much conservatives try to hijack it for nobler purposes, it is still overwhelmingly a leftist method of worshipping Leftist Sacred Cows.

If, for whatever reason, you feel utterly compelled to do a ribbon thing, tie red,white&blue ribbons instead.
