I take note of the fact that the BBC either hasn't heard yet or chooses to ignore the fact that our guys yesterday opened up Bush International Airfield at an airbase 4 miles from Nasiriya. This base, with its 12,000-foot runway, will be our forward resupply base, taking the heat off that 240-mile-long overland convoy route. The first C-130 landed there yesterday. And the base is only 60 miles from Baghdad.
