So they plan to protest oil consumption and pollution caused by traffic by snarling traffic, consuming more oil and producing more pollution. Brilliant.

Actually I have found that a box of the old style jacks that kids play with, work even better as a shaky old man drops his jacks.

Careful, you'll end up on a "Wanted" poster, courtesy of the Consumer Products Safety Commission! Seriously, I have a coffee can full of those things, too (my sisters just loved 'em when they were kids). I took a liking to them, too - they are just about the meanest thing you can launch with a Wrist Rocket slingshot. Like a miniature Ninja star. I mention these things purely for educational purposes, of course... ;-)

This might also be a good opportunity to try out the ol' paintball gun - with *frozen* paintballs. Non-lethal, and biodegradeable!

I carry them for my Grandchildren. They are too young to carry jacks. I can't help it if they fall out my shaky old hands just before some punk tries to run me over with his stolen mountain bike.

Can't find a good online pic of the real thing, but this scale model also suggests a worthy vehicle:

Man that's funny.
The MudRanger powered right through the geeks with relative ease, I'd bet; seeings how there's little (if any) substance to 'em.

Now for the cleanup, Mud.

...get that undercarriage powerwashed.
