A very accurate description. I lived in Portland, Oregon when Moose was police chief there. I would add "utterly incompetent" to the officer's description. When Moose was finally fired from Portland (disguised as Moose's desire to "move on"), I remember feeling sorry for the citizens of Montgomery County, Maryland. Their search committee failed them.
Well I'll be damned!!!! I live in Montgomery County, went through this with my kids, and this is the first time I heard that. I heard he was overly racially sensitive and had "moved on" cuz he had problems getting along.
Why was he fired??
